This survey has been designed to consult members on their views about the sustainability of legal aid work in the absence of any increase in rates of pay even though other areas of criminal law have had the benefit of the 15% increase recommended by Lord Bellamy for all areas of criminal work. APL will use this information to inform its representations to the Ministry of Justice about the sustainability of legal aid prison law work. Please answer the survey as fully as you can. Please also encourage as many colleagues in your firm to answer this survey individually so we can get a meaningful amount of data.
